On July 24, 2025, Lorette Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 63 years. She is survived by her children, Shane Gladue & Tyson Cardinal; grandchildren, Bradley, Noel, Grace, Carmen, Jayden, Cassie & Chelsea; father of her children, Harold Cardinal; siblings, Donna (Terry) Houle, Arthur (Brenda) Gladue, Cheryl Gladue & Edna Gladue (Dwayne); auntie, Brenda Cardinal; adopted nephew/son, Neil Gladue; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Lorette was predeceased by her children, Bradley Gladue, Lance Gladue, Jayde Cardinal, Grace Cardinal & Baby Girl; grandchildren, Joseph & Nevaeh; parents, Joseph & Gladys Gladue; siblings, Marlene, Bruce, Verna, Joseph, Kathleen, Laura, William, Susie, Paul, Irvin, Mary Ann, Walter & Baby Girl; maternal grandparents, Mary Anne & John Cardinal; paternal grandparents, Amelia & Riel Gladue. A Wake will be held on Monday, July 28 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Tuesday, July 29 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
