On July 19, 2025, Mr. John Krankowsky of Lake Eliza, Alberta, passed away at the age of 99 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Rose; children, Gerald (Lucie) & Guidee Evans (Robb Foote); grandchildren, Preston (Cassia), Lyndon (Brandi) & Jordan (Kendra) Krankowsky, Brennan (Danielle) & Brayden Evans; 7 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hunter, Tenley, Hudson, Jaxtyn & Sully Krankowsky & Bowen Evans; sister, Rosie Petruk; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Krankowsky was predeceased by his parents, Frank & Mary; 5 brothers & 3 sisters; son-in-law, Jay Evans; & also just hours earlier by Bear, the beloved family dog and loyal companion to both John & Rose. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Lac Bellevue Hall, Lac Bellevue. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Lac Bellevue.
