A 40-year-old man is currently in remand after St. Paul RCMP were pursuing the suspect for uttering threats to kill himself and other people.

On Saturday, July 12, police in St. Paul and neighbouring detachments were on the lookout after receiving these reports, believing he was no longer in St. Paul.

RCMP sent out a provincewide release looking for Ryan Alexander Paul Murray, 40, of Sherwood Park, putting out a description of his appearance and vehicle, with the belief he could be a danger to the public.

After initial belief he was in Canmore, he was then arrested and charged in Bruderheim.

He is facing two counts of uttering threats to property and one count of uttering threats to a person, according to police.

He was held for a judicial hearing and was remanded. His next court appearance is on Thursday, July 17.

Murray also has an outstanding warrant for uttering threats.
