Elk Point EDC Launches “Hello Elk Point” Campaign to Attract Remote Workers
New microsite and social media campaign invites Western Canadians to discover a better way of living in small-town Alberta
The Elk Point Economic Development Committee (EDC) is thrilled to announce the launch of helloelkpoint.ca, a new digital campaign and microsite designed to inspire remote workers across Western Canada to consider Elk Point as their next chapter.
As remote and hybrid work redefine where people can live, Elk Point stands out: a community with affordable housing, high-speed internet, natural beauty, and room to grow. The campaign positions the town as a hidden gem for those looking to escape the noise of the city — without sacrificing connection or opportunity.
“This campaign is about welcoming new energy into Elk Point, and I am so happy the EDC has been so supportive of this mission.” says Natalie Maas, local creative director and project lead. “It’s not just about drawing people here — it’s about creating momentum for a thriving, sustainable future. More people means more ideas, more business, and more life in town.”
The site will feature real-life stories from new residents who’ve already made the move, housing information, local amenities, and an open invitation to become part of a community that values connection, belonging, and possibility.
Digital marketing support and behind-the-scenes campaign execution have been led by Mykaela Verenka, working under Maas to bring the project to life.
