Driver of stolen vehicle charged by Bonnyville RCMP
A 38-year-old man is facing charges as police investigated a stolen truck incident.
On Thursday, July 3, the Bonnyville RCMP were alerted to the location of a stolen truck on Highway 41 south of Bonnyville that had been stolen earlier in the day.
Members of the Bonnyville RCMP, St. Paul/Vermilion Traffic Services and Eastern Alberta District Police Dog Services converged on the truck near a residence in Kehewin.
All four occupants were spoken to.
The driver, 38 year old Peter Trottier of Frog Lake, was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 and Driving While Prohibited.
He was brought before a Justice of the Peace who released him during the bail hearing.
Trottier is set to appear in court on July 22nd.
