In Loving Memory: George Dikeman – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

February 28, 1934 – June 24, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Albert Dikeman, who passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years at the St Therese Hospital in St. Paul, Alberta. George was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather & great-grandfather, & a cherished friend to many.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jane Dikeman; 2 daughters, Pam (Randy) Ballas &Tammy Dikeman; 3 granddaughters, Kristyn (Trevor) Duchesneau, Brittany (Lewis) Donnan & Taitus (Derek) Kohler; 5 great-grandchildren, Jaedyn, Camden & Maddyn Duchesneau, Castor Kohler, & Isla Donnan, who brought him endless joy and pride.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie & Alberta Dikeman; 6 brothers & 1 sister; 1 sister-in-law & 2 brother-in-laws; as well as 2 nieces & 1 nephew.

George’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, remembered for his strength, humour, & deep love for his family & friends; his commitment to his brother & sister Elks, brothers of the Masonic Lodge, & UFO Good Sams.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Abdulsalam for his exceptional care and compassion. We are also deeply thankful for the dedication and kindness shown by the home care nursing team and the staff at St. Therese Health Care Centre, who supported George with dignity and respect in his final days. George will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 pm at the St Paul Senior Citizens’ Centre, St. Paul. Cremation has taken place.
