Fatal collision at Highway 659 & 657 intersection Tuesday

A serious collision Tuesday morning proved fatal as one person has died.

The M.D. of Bonnyville confirmed this in a press release that the individual who died was an employee, following the collision at the intersection of Highway 659 & 657.

The intersection was closed for a significant time, but Highway 659 is now open as of publishing time.

“The Council and staff of the Municipal District of Bonnyville wish to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the fatal accident that occurred this morning,” the M.D. said.
