Bonnyville RCMP are still looking to ID the culprits from the brazen main street theft of an ATM from Red Rooster on May 28.
The incident got a lot of attention because it happened at 7:00PM, and not overnight like other similar type of crimes.
Police have gathered information that the black Ford F350 pickup truck, which used straps to tear the ATM out of the store, was stolen.
However, the ATM was recovered in a farmer’s field several miles south of Bonnyville, police said.
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP or Crimestoppers.
