Did the chili hit just right on Friday?
The annual Bonnyville & District Chamber of Commerce Chili Cook-Off saw another round of tremendous support on Friday from eaters, cooks, and sponsors alike.
A total of 780 bowls of chili were sold this year with $2 from every bowl going towards the Bonnyville & District SPCA.
This year’s winners, as deemed by the panel of judges, are as follows:
• Hot Stuff: Casino Dene
• Tastiest: Lakeland Co-op
• Most Unusual: ACFA de Bonnyville/Cold-Lake
• Team Spirit: Canadian Natural Resources Limited
• People’s Choice: S & T Energy Services Ltd.
• Overall Winner (“Sense”ational): The Bonnyville Friendship Centre
