Two people arrested after robbery on the street in Bonnyville
An early morning robbery near Main Street in Bonnyville led to the arrests of two people last week.
On Thursday, May 29, at approximately 6:20AM, members responded as a man and woman allegedly robbed the victim of cash at 50th Street and 49th Avenue.
Bonnyville RCMP were able to ID and locate both suspects shortly after the incident to make the arrest.
The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
Jeshaiah John, 23, of Wetaskiwin, has been charged with:
- Robbery
- Failing to comply with a release order
- Resisting arrest
He was brought before a justice and remanded into custody.
Geneva Bull, 22, of Red Deer, was also charged with robbery.
She was brought before a justice of the peace and released from custody.
However, moments after her release, she was arrested for failing to comply with the conditions that had just been imposed.
She is currently being held for a bail hearing.
