Kikino man takes home $300,000 in Plinko live win

A Kikino man is reaping the rewards after being the lucky winner of a Plinko scratch ticket.

Alvin Howse walked away from the live event put on by Lotto Spot on Friday, May 16 a gaudy $300,000 richer.

He was one of four participants to win big bucks after winning the sum in the Price is Right themed game.

Back on Dec. 19, Howse won $10,000 and the date with the Plinko board, after buying the ticket from Squirrely’s Gas Bar in Lac La Biche.

“I was excited,” said Howse. “The cashier said I won, and I said, ‘Oh, my God, thank you!’”

Howse originally won on his late son’s birthday. He said he’s going to put the money in the bank, but also take the kid’s out shopping.

“This money is just – wow!” he said, after his $300,000 win. “I made a two-and-a-half-hour drive to be here and it’s just sinking in now.”
