GALLERY: Jayman BUILT MS Walk 2025 surpasses fundraising goal
On a sunny Sunday morning, Lagasse Park in St. Paul was the site of the 2025 Jayman BUILT MS Canada Walk.
Surpassing their fundraising goal for the year, which was roughly $63,000, with approximately 60 walkers who signed up to take part and 20 volunteers who made it happen.
“Our volunteers are our grassroots of our organization, we would not be able to flow through with MS Canada if we didn’t have our incredible volunteers…we also have many sponsors in the St. Paul region, this walk and these events that happen in St. Paul, they just make you feel good,” said Brenda Rosychuk, Manager, Community Fundraising, MS Canada.
“We have so many incredible supporters, so many local companies and businesses on board, because they want to be involved and they want to create that change and that impact. I’m getting goosebumps just talking about, and that’s helping people living with MS.”
Starting the walk in St. Paul in 2008, MS Canada has given $244 million to MS research in Canada, with limited government funding.
They are taking donations until June 30 for the MS Walk programs at mswalks.ca.
