This week is Rural Health Week, celebrating what our local healthcare professions do in our communities.

The group RhPAP, known as the Rural Health Professions Action Plan, has supported the efforts of rural Albertans to maintain an accessible health workforce close to home.

St. Paul and District Chamber of Commerce executive director Yvonne Weinmeier made sure to mention it so residents can show their appreciation.

“We want to make sure you go above and beyond and make sure you appreciate the health workers in our community. We can’t live without them, and we love what they do for us,” said Weinmeier.
