Saddle Lake man facing drug trafficking charges
A Saddle Lake man is facing a series of charges after a search warrant was executed last week.
On Apr. 11, 2025, the Saddle Lake RCMP received information on drug trafficking in the Saddle Lake area.
Following a month-long investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Saddle Lake on May 8, 2025.
The search resulted in the seizure of drugs, paraphernalia, and ammunition. One male was arrested on outstanding warrants and charged with multiple new offences.
Brandon Carlos Favel, 28, a resident of Saddle Lake has been charged with:
- possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: cocaine
- possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: methamphetamine (crystal meth)
- possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: opioid (other than heroin)
- weapons possession contrary to order and fail to surrender authorization (x3)
- fail to comply with release order condition (x2)
Favel was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody.
