On May 3, 2025, Mr. Jack Lester Cree of Fort McMurray, Alberta passed away at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his children, Laura (Donnie), Sharlene (Wayne), Shannon, Janine (Jordan) Rainfeather, Aleshea & Nakota (Daniel); adopted sons, Daniel Mountain, Blair Mountain, Ambrose Metsikassus & Clifton Jr. Lewis; 23 grandchildren; special friend, Doreen Lemaigre; mother of his children, Linda Berland & Connie Rain Cree; siblings, August (Patsy), Robert (Tina), Bernadette, David (Ashley), Alden (Cindy), Lloyd (Sharon) & Virginia (Denis); culturally adopted sister, Jean Whitehorse. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Michael Mountain & Eva Cree; culturally adopted parents, Sarah & Bill Whitehorse; siblings, Simon Mountain, Samuel Mountain, Ross Mountain, Alvina Cree, Sylvia Cree, Billy Cree, Gordon Cree, Darcy Cree & Christine Badger; children, Dustin Redcrow, Julian Cree & Charlie Berland; grandchildren, Baby Girl, Tyrese, Baby Kasteitêw-maskwa-maskosis & all of the angel babies. A Wake was held on Wednesday & Thursday, May 7 & 8 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Traditional Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C.
