Flyby at 1:15PM this afternoon for pilot graduates: 4 Wing
Eight Royal Canadian Air Force CH-146 and three Royal Canadian Air Force CH-147F helicopters from 438 Tactical Helicopter Squadron at 1 Wing Saint-Hubert, QC., will conduct a flyby over the City of Cold Lake on May 13th, 2025, at 1315hrs. The flypast is in celebration of the graduation at the culmination of the training that has been taking place over the last four weeks.
The aircraft will fly over the City of Cold Lake at an altitude no lower than 1000 feet above the highest obstacle on their route. Flypasts by Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety and are dependent upon weather and flying conditions.
The CF-146 Griffon and CH-147F Chinook are the Royal Canadian Air Force’s frontline multi-role helicopters and are employed in many different roles.
