State of Local Emergency Declared for Moose Lake Area Fire

The Municipal District of Bonnyville has declared a State of Local Emergency (SOLE) due to a wildfire burning north of Highway 660 and Evergreen Estates in the Moose Lake area.

While no evacuation order is currently in place, fire crews and support teams remain actively engaged. The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority, Alberta Forestry, and several local contractors are working together to control the blaze.

RCMP officers and M.D. Public Safety personnel are managing traffic and supporting safety efforts on the ground.
