On April 15, 2025, Mr. Alfred “Chipolet” Cardinal of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his siblings, Margaret Louise Cardinal McConnell (David McConnell), Peter (Lorraine) Cardinal, Darlene Donna Cardinal (Harry Quintal) & Elaine J. Cardinal; nieces & nephews, Tahza, Lisa, Jondalar, Conrad, Amanda, Lewis, Lucas, Ian, Chevay, Jolene, Yarrow, Jordan & Trina; numerous grandchildren. Alfred was predeceased by his parents, Alphonse & Angelique Cardinal; siblings, Arthur Lewis Cardinal, Marie Cardinal & Pauline Cardinal; nephews, Nigel, Arthur B. & Craig Cardinal; niece, Samantha Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Monday & Tuesday, April 21 & 22 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
