Through the grace of God, our mother, Iris Drapaka of Glendon, Alberta, was taken to her final resting place on April 14, 2025 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her daughters, Audrey Kwiatkowski (Marcel) & Arlene (Sherwin) Prysunka; 4 grandchildren, Cory (Louise) Kwiatkowski, Virgil (Loretta) Kwiatkowski, Stephanie (Juston) LaPrairie & Bryce (Shelby) Prysunka; 8 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Haley, Clay, Kale, Kolby, Olea, Harry & Lenah; 2 great-great-grandchildren, William & Charlotte; 3 sisters, Mary Hyshka, Connie Moritz & Adele Dahrouge; 2 sisters-in-law, Donna & Myrna Fedorus; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Drapaka was predeceased by her husband, Harry; parents, Louis & Jennie Fedorus; 2 sisters, Olga (Olea) Martin & Sidonia (Donna) Sherwood; 2 brothers, Ollie & Orest Fedorus; son-in-law, Mike Kwiatkowski; 3 brothers-in-law, Bob Dahrouge, Metro Hyshka & William Moritz; mother-in-law, Paraska Hyshka; 2 nieces, Jacqueline Fedorus & Linda Marchuk. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Glendon RCMP Hall, Glendon. Reverend Father Peter Haugen will be officiating with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Glendon.
