On Sunday, April 6, 2025, Joe “Freddie” John passed away at the Elk Point Health Care Centre at the age of 87 years.

Freddie is lovingly survived by his wife: Christina John; 5 children: Albert John, Veronica John, Maryanne John, Deana John-Auger, Deanna John; numerous grandchildren; numerous chapans; sister: Mary Thunderchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends

Freddie was predeceased by his daughter: Betty Auger; son: Eric John and  numerous grandchildren.
