FIRE ADVISORY IN EFFECT
The Lac La Biche Forest Area is under a Fire Advisory — and this includes English Bay, as it is located within the Forest Protection Area.
This advisory was issued by the Alberta Forrestry and Parks due to hot, dry weather and low humidity, which have increased the risk of wildfire in the region.
Current Fire Danger: HIGH
What you need to know:
• Campfires are still permitted, but must be monitored at all times
• Fires must be completely extinguished before leaving
• Off-highway vehicles (OHVs) can spark fires—please check for debris and use with caution
• Avoid any unnecessary burning or open flames
Let’s keep our land, homes, and community safe. Stay fire smart and stay alert.
