On Saturday, March 29, 2025 John Tkachuk of Iron River, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre at the age of 91 years.

John will be remembered by his son: Mark Tkachuk and his wife Corrine of North Vancouver; 3 grandchildren: Claire Tkachuk and her fiancé Spencer Wilson, Ethan Tkachuk, William Tkachuk all of North Vancouver; 2 step-children: Wanissa Sukjai, Poppy Sukjai of Udon Thani, Thailand; sister: Marie Ross and her husband Harvey of Calgary; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

John was predeceased by his daughter: Darci; parents: Thomas & Elizabeth Tkachuk; brothers: Anthony, Mike, George; sister: Martha.
