Bonnyville RCMP involved in 138 investigations from Mar. 28 to Apr. 4

The Bonnyville RCMP were involved in 138 investigations from March 28 to April 4.

On April 1^st just after 4:00AM a local security guard on duty reported that they were being followed in the industrial area while making their patrols.

The two drivers pulled over and had a brief verbal interaction before the security guard called police.

An RCMP member attended the area, located the suspect vehicle and conducted a roadside check with the driver who was determined to have a suspended driver’s licence and had an warrant for her arrest.

Cheyenne Cardinal, 40, of Cold Lake was arrested on her warrant and is charged with Driving While Prohibited and was additionally issued a traffic violation ticket for a burnt our tail light.

She was released from custody and is set to appear in court on April 15^th.

Assault

On March 29^th at 2:30PM the Bonnyville RCMP received a call to assist a male who had been assaulted near 48 Avenue and 53 Street.

Members arrived and witnesses pointed out the suspect and further showed RCMP a video of the alleged incident.

Kyle Nadeau, 38, of Bonnyville is charged with Assault.

He was remanded and his next court appearance is April 10^th.
