The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs season is officially over, but last Tuesday, the individual successes and growth of this year’s players were recognized.

The annual Pontiacs Awards Banquet featured the team’s billets, volunteers, and staff, all celebrated for their contributions to the organization this year. Without them, a team cannot function.

While it was disappointing to not make the playoffs this year, many memories were made with this year’s group, under first year staff Ayrton Nikkel, Chad Carder, and Chad Taylor.

The evening also provided the last chance to tip the cap to the graduating 20-year-old players on this year’s team: Myles Gauld, Lynden Hanvold, Kyle Kalamaras, (pictured above) and Brady Estabrook.
