Honouring Community Champions

Last Updated: March 10th, 2025By

On Sunday, community pride was front and centre in St. Paul at the King Charles III Coronation Medal ceremony, hosted by MP Shannon Stubbs, Member of Parliament for Lakeland, and proudly organized by the St. Paul Legion Branch 100.

Scott Cyr, MLA for Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul, expressed his appreciation for the event, stating, “What makes this event even more special is how MP Shannon Stubbs went above and beyond in selecting the recipients. Instead of making the decision alone, she reached out to her entire Lakeland for input on nominations. This is huge—it means these incredible individuals weren’t just chosen by one person, but by the very people they serve and inspire. This is truly a recognition by the community, for the community.”
