Cold Lake tattoo artist’s trial facing 11 sexual assault charges slated for late April

The Cold Lake tattoo artist accused of several accounts of sexual assault is soon going to trial.

Dale Amos, 68-years-old, is facing 11 charges of sexual assault and will go to jury trial in St. Paul in late April.

On May 20, 2023, Cold Lake RCMP began an investigation into Amos, after allegations that he had sexually assaulted several clients while tattooing them.

Just four days later, police laid several charges against the man.

When releasing the information to media outlets, RCMP said they believed there could be more victims.

A followup in September 2023 by the Cold Lake RCMP said they had laid a total of 11 charges stemming from 11 different victims.

These offences allegedly occurred between 2015 to 2023.

The trial is scheduled from April 28 to May 16.
