Vermilion RCMP arrest individual for breaching conditions

On Dec. 17, 2024, Vermilion RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious male sleeping outside in a residential area. Members attended and identified the male who was then taken into custody, as he was found to be breaching his release conditions.

Bryson Poan, a 27-year-old resident of Vermilion, has been charged with the following offence:

  • Fail to comply with undertaking

On Jan. 5, 2025, Vermilion RCMP were conducting a compliance check on Bryson. Officers located Bryson who was found to be breaching his release document conditions again.

As a result of this incident, Bryson Poan has been charged with the following additional offences:

  • Fail to comply with undertaking x2
  • Mischief under $5000

Bryson was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 20, 2025 at the Alberta Court of Justice.
