Break and enter, road conditions: St. Paul RCMP report

Over the past two weeks, the St. Paul RCMP responded to 330 calls for service and executed 24 warrants for arrest. 

Stolen generator

Two women are facing charges after stealing a generator.

The incident happened on Friday Dec. 6, shortly before 4:30PM, the St. Paul RCMP received a report of two females and a male stealing a generator at the back of a residence.

Police responded and arrested two females in relation to the incident.

Tanille Dawn Night, 32, a resident of Bonnyville, was charged with:

  • theft under $5000
  • possess break-in instruments

Delores Kay Cardinal, 38, a resident of St. Paul was charged with:

  • theft under $5000
  • possess break-in instruments

Both Tanille Night and Delores Cardinal were held for judicial hearings and released on conditions. Both were scheduled to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on Dec. 19, 2024. 

Break & enter/Assault

On Sunday, Dec. 8, shortly after 4:00PM, the St. Paul RCMP received a report of a break-in and assault at a residence on 49 Avenue.

Police learned that the suspect had broken in, assaulted the resident of the home, and stole a few small items before leaving the residence.

Police found a male matching the description and arrested him.

Kevin John Crane, 48, a resident of Saddle Lake, was charged with:

  • breaking and entering with intent – residence
  • assault
  • other theft under $5000
  • theft, forgery, misuse of credit card

Kevin Crane was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody. He is set to appear at the St. Paul Court of Justice on Jan. 9, 2025. 

Road conditions

Over the last two weeks, the St. Paul RCMP have received 22 calls in relation to traffic collisions. These include everything from deer strikes, two-vehicle collisions, and vehicles sliding into the ditch. The RCMP is reminding drivers to use caution when the road conditions are not favourable.
