Kitscoty RCMP respond to fatal collision on Friday
A fatal collision near Kitscoty has claimed the life of a 92-year-old man.
Kitscoty RCMP responded to a collision on Friday afternoon at 4:28PM on Township Road 502 and Range Road 20 east of Kitscoty between a sedan and a pickup truck.
RCMP, EMS and Fire Services responded.
Upon arrival, police determined that the driver of the sedan, a 92-year-old male resident of Blackfoot, was deceased.
The driver of the truck sustained injuries and was transported to an Edmonton hospital.
The RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
