William J. Cadzow Hospital emerge disruptions for next 2 weeks
As per Alberta Health Services, there will be no doctor on site in the emergency department at the William J. Cadzow Hospital in Lac La Biche the following times:
- 4 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 3 to 8 am, Wednesday, Dec. 4
- 4 pm, Wednesday, Dec. 4 to 8 am, Thursday, Dec. 5
- 4 pm, Thursday, Dec. 5 to 8 am, Friday, Dec. 6
- 4 pm, Monday, Dec. 9 to 8 am, Tuesday, Dec. 10
- 4 pm, Tuesday, Dec. 10 to 8 am, Wednesday, Dec. 11
- 4 pm, Wednesday, Dec. 11 to 8 am, Thursday, Dec. 12
- 4 pm, Friday, Dec. 13 to 8 am, Saturday, Dec. 14
Nursing staff will remain on site in the emergency department providing triage, assessments, and referrals for patients to alternate emergency departments. Please note that these closures may not occur if coverage is secured.
