Two incidents, several charges laid, after man tried break-in at Lakeland College dorm
A 27-year-old man is facing charges related to a stolen vehicle, mischief, and break and enter, after two incidents in Vermilion last Friday.
At approximately 8:41 a.m., police were told of an unknown male, who was found inside a running vehicle and attempted to take off with it.
When the owner confronted the suspect, the individual fled on foot. Officers located the suspect a short distance away.
He was subsequently taken before a Justice of the Peace was released on a Release Order.
However, while in custody, Vermilion RCMP got word of an unknown suspect who that morning entered a campus dorm at Lakeland College.

- Beak and enter
- Theft under $5000
- Mischief

He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Vermilion.
