In Loving Memory: Philip Procinsky – Memento Funeral Chapel

The family of Philip “Phil” William Procinsky of Edmonton, Alberta, born and raised in Bonnyville, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce his passing  on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the age of 78 years.

Phil fought a courageous and dignified battle with terminal cancer while maintaining his sense of humor and ability to make others feel at ease. Phil’s charismatic presence drew so many in and allowed his room to become the place to watch the Oilers playoff run.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is his son: Dale (Lina) Procinsky; grandchildren: McKinley Procinsky, Bode Procinsky; brother: Brian Procinsky; sisters: Patricia Procinsky (Don Silver), Victoria Procinsky; nieces: Chantelle Procinsky, Jolene (Mitchell) Ackre, Debbie (Brett) Thompson; great niece: Millie Ackre; and great nephew: Cort Thompson, and the entire extended family.

Phil was predeceased by his parents: Mike & Lena Procinsky.

Phil’s family would like to thank the palliative care team at the Gene Zwozdesky Center at Norwood and Dr. Jason Voldeng for their incredible care and compassion during this time.

As per Phil’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
