Almost 60 grams of meth & cocaine seized in St. Paul search warrant

An early morning drug bust in St. Paul where a variety of narcotics and weapons were seized saw three people arrested on Tuesday in St. Paul.

RCMP executed a search warrant at 6:00AM at a residence near 48 avenue and 48 street. 

Police seized a compound bow, a taser, and a knife. Amongst the drugs seized were nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 18 capsules of prescription drugs, and six pre-rolled joints.

Also taken from the search was a scale, a security camera system, a score sheet, and approximately 480 unstamped cigarettes.

Jessie Cardinal (41), a resident of St. Paul has been charged with:

  • assault
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: cocaine
  • possession for the purpose of trafficking – schedule 1: methamphetamine
  • fail to comply with release order condition (x4)

Jessie Cardinal was held for a judicial hearing and remanded into custody. He is set to appear at the St. Paul court of justice on Nov. 21, 2024. 

Two other individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, unrelated to this matter, and no new charges were laid against either of them, St. Paul RCMP said.
