On October 11, 2024, Mr. Thomas “Tom” Stanley Keats of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his children, Beverly, Becky (Nathan) & Jesse (Brooklyn); grandchildren, Sean, Rylan (Ali), Parry (Adrianna), Dylan (Chloe), Kyla, Kayden, Brittany, Keaton, Jase, Beth, Tianna, Jorell, Thomas & Bobby; great-grandchildren, Wesley & Olivia; brother, Francis Keats of Bow Island, AB; sisters, Jody (Dennis) Knapik of Brooks, Alberta, Colleen (Ross) Campbell of Courtenay, B.C., Nancy Geddes of Courtenay, B.C. & Kerri (Curtis) Watson of Leduc, AB; Godchildren, Rachelle Whiskeyjack & Holly-Rae Cardinal; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Eva), Wilfred Sr. & Jimmy (Jackie); sister-in-law, Rhoda Cardinal of Saddle Lake, AB. Tom was predeceased by the mother of his children, Rachel M. Cardinal; parents, Frank & Gloria Keats; paternal grandparents, Thomas & Mary Keats; maternal grandparents, Joseph & Ellen McLafferty; his oldest sister, Patricia Strom; son-in-law, Kyle Platz. A Wake will be held on Friday, October 18 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at the Cardinal Residence, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cardinal Residence, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Michael Ngo will be officiating with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
