On October 10, 2024, Ms. Harriette Joan Large of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Elizabeth Large, Candyce (David) BigChild & Jamie Large; 12 grandchildren, Zoey, Dean, Layne, Rhythm, River, Ocean, Atreyu, Kano, Creea, Cerenity, Promise & Raven; siblings, Christina Cardinal, Irene Cardinal, Doris (Emile) Cardinal, Valerie Padela-Cruz, Sophie Pearson, John Yewchin & Sam Cardinal; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Harriette was predeceased by her daughter, Destiney Large; father, Mathew Cardinal; mother, Elizabeth Large; stepmother, Rachel Cardinal; siblings, Josephine Large, Martin Half, Victoria Dion, Dena Bernard, Jean Whiskeyjack, Emily Moosewah, Nancy Cardinal, Sarah Cardinal, Raymond Cardinal & James Hunter. A Wake will be held on Sunday, October 20 (Leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre. Reverend Father Jerish Jose Arackal will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
