Fire Prevention Week brings Open House to BRFA Station 5

The acknowledgment to emergency responders at the St. Paul Fire Hall.  

Fire Prevention Week begins on Sunday, Oct. 6.

This year’s theme is Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work for You.

“We do need to acknowledge our local firefighters,” said St. Paul Mayor Maureen Miller.

“They’ve had a very busy spring into the summer. They were farmed out, per se, to neighboring communities. If you do pass by the fire hall, there’s an acknowledgement there for the work that they’ve done in the past.” 

In Bonnyville, the Regional Fire Authority is hosting an Open House event on Tuesday from 4:00PM-8:00PM.
