With humble acceptance of God’s will, the Murphy family announces the passing of Deacon Pat Murphy of Lac La Biche, AB on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Darlene Murphy; Children: Christopher (Paula) Murphy, Nicole (Kevin) Biollo, James (Lisa) Murphy, Amanda (Nezar) Yaggey, Mark (Felina) Johnson, Raymond Johnson (Pamela Burdek); Grandchildren: Taylor (Cory) Simpson, Riley Johnson, Jackson & Brody Murphy, Mackenzie, Gracin, Kayin & Joah Biollo, Ava & Addyson Murphy, Kaeya & Amaya Yaggey, Coleton & Dalton Tymchyna; Great Grandchildren: Kaylee Simpson & Steele Tymchyna; Brothers: Gerald Murphy, Albert (Debbie) Murphy; Sisters: Katherine Murphy, Alison (Jeff) Sexton; Mother-in-law: Grace Smith. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pat is predeceased by his parents: Norman & Mary Murphy; Father-in-laws: Clarence Smith, Keith Hourie; Brother-in-law: William (Bill) Smith; Siblings: Joy & Barry Melchert, Jane Murphy, Patricia Johnson, Theresa & Keith White, Michael Murphy, Peter Murphy; Grandchild: Jayden Murphy.

Prayer Service: Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 7:00 pm at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche.

Funeral Service: Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche, with Bishop Gary Franken and Father Anselmo Landoy officiating.
