St. Paul RCMP investigate fatal collision

On September 20,2024 at approximately 7:30 A.M., St. Paul RCMP received a 911 call of a serious multi vehicle collision on Highway 29 near Hwy 652 on Saddle Lake First Nation where a midsized SUV collided with the rear end of a school bus.

St. Paul RCMP attended where Emergency Medical Services and Fire Services were already on scene. The 46-year-old driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the deceased will not be released.

No children were present during the collision.

St. Paul Forensic Collision Reconstruction Unit attended to process the scene for further evidence.

The collision is still under investigation
