On September 9, 2024, Mrs. Helen Trach of Elk Point, Alberta passed away at the age of 103 years, 9 months & 7 days. She is survived by her daughter, Florence (Orest) Drobot; 3 grandchildren, Kevin (Tera-Lee) Drobot, Duane Drobot & Faye (Bernie) Poitras; 7 great-grandchildren, Payton (Kylie) Drobot, Macey Drobot, Chavez (Jodie) Drobot, D.J. Drobot, Kaylee Poitras, Kolbie Poitras & Konnor Poitras; 1 great-great-grandson, Beau Drobot; son-in-law, Mike Oryshchuk; 2 sisters, Jean Zarowny & Olga Demchuk; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Trach was predeceased by her husband, Mike; daughter, Elsie; 2 sons in infancy; 3 brothers & 3 sisters; 4 nephews & 1 niece. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle), Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in Elk Point East Cemetery.
