Suspect is still at large as police continue to investigate.

Three people have been found dead in Lloydminster and Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a triple homicide.

Police urge there is no immediate concern for public safety, following what police believe is a “targeted and isolated incident.”

Lloydminster RCMP did not reveal details Thursday afternoon of the cause of death, or identify the victims.

“It is not a random incident,” said Lloyd RCMP detachment commander Brian Nicholl to reporters.

“The suspect or suspects are still at large, so we understand the concern from the community, but this is a not random incident that we believe at this time.”

Just before 6:45PM on Wednesday night, Mounties responded to an “unfolding incident” in the area of 50th Street and 47th Avenue, on the Saskatchewan side of the Border City.

Major Crimes Units are still on scene gathering information and evidence.
