In Loving Memory: Marguerite Martin – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

On August 29, 2024, Marguerite Martin of St. Paul, Alberta passed away at the age of 100 years.  She is survived by her children, Richard (Kathy Smith), Marcel (Yvette), Anita (Florian) Dechaine, Raymond (Sharon) & Denis (Cynthia); son-in-law, Lester Smith; 18 grandchildren, Caroline (Rob), Michelle, Jacqueline (Kevin), Paul, Monique (Steve), Robert (Isabelle), Louise (Leslie), Suzanne (Darrell), Richard (Melissa), Pierre (Susan), Don (Meagan), Ryan, Allison, Melissa (Daniel), Nick, Elaine, Nicole (Claude) & Monique; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lorraine Platz (Clay); her sister Therese Viel has since joined her in Heaven on September 4, 2024.  Marguerite was predeceased by her spouse, Armand; daughter, Jeanne Smith; her parents; 4 sisters, Yvette, Angela, Germaine & Madeleine; 2 brothers, Paul & René. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul.  Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger will be the celebrant, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
