In Loving Memory: Laurette Germain – Mission View Funeral Chapel

A woman of great faith until the end, the family of Laurette Germain joyously announce her entrance into the eternal kingdom on August 29, 2024 – the memorial of the passion of St. John the Baptist – at the age of 92. 

Laurette is survived by her children Claude, Bernard (Leonie), and Guy (Jacinthe), her brother Wilfrid (Fern) Plamondon, sister-in-law Leya Plamondon, her grandchildren Noland (Anna), Nicholas (Jessica), Dustin (Missina), Tom (Allison), Scott (Michelle), Jamie (Alexis), Sébastien, Raven (Richard), and Erika, great grandchildren: Kyle, Tyler, Kayla, Zahavah, Aeris, Darken, Asher, Audrey, Jackson, Brooklyn, Eli, Yuri, and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Laurette is predeceased by her loving husband Paul, parents, Frederick and Odina, her brothers Alphonse, Alcide, Rosaire, and Gerald, her sister Marguerite, her sisters-in-law Rose Marie, Jeanne, and Christella, her brother-in-law Willard, her granddaughter Elora, and her daughter-in-law, Alke.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Isidore Catholic Church in

Plamondon with Father Adrian Tumanda officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery.

Her grandchildren Nicholas, Dustin, Tom, Scott, Jamie, Noland, and Sébastien will act as honorary pallbearers.
