Smoky air conditions highlight air quality advisory for Lakeland
Air quality will not be great for the next little while as wildfire smoke is travelling southeast.
Environment Canada issued an air quality advisory on Wednesday afternoon.
A data map from firesmoke.ca shows the next couple of days will be just as smoky, if not decreasing air quality.
With a chance of showers Wednesday evening, the weather is forecasted to be sunny with a high of 27 degrees on Thursday, but widespread, hazy smoke with wind.
The smoke map in particular shows heavy smoke on Friday morning.
The Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority (BRFA) issued a Fire Advisory for the M.D., Summer Villages of Bonnyville Beach and Pelican Narrows, and the Village of Glendon as of this afternoon.
