Effective immediately, M.D. residents will no longer have to pay both a flat fee and a  cubic metre fee to use the Town of Bonnyville’s sewage disposal facility. 

The recently signed agreement will see the Town charging M.D. residents a flat fee of $60 per load. It  should be noted, this fee does not include any hauling fees charged by private, third-party companies.  The M.D. does not set hauling fees. 

The elimination of the cubic metre charge means M.D. residents will be charged the same $60 flat fee whether they use the City of Cold Lake or Town of Bonnyville facility.
