WATCH: Camp Day at Tim Hortons today

Camp Day is today across Canada at Tim Hortons locations, where purchases of hot or ice coffees help youth.

The idea with Camp Day on Wednesday, July 17 is to raise money to help kids, who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity, to experience going to camp in the summertime.

One hundred per cent of the money spent on those purchases go to Tim Hortons Foundation camps.

Local authorities and businesses will be helping out with shifts at the location, along with a local BBQ, and the opportunity to make donations and purchase Camp Day bracelets.

The Bonnyville and District SPCA will be outside along with Cellphone Sally, face painting, balloons, among other activities at 9:00AM.

In 2023, 1860 campers participated in Tim Hortons’ camps.
