In Loving Memory: Lawrence “Larry” Slawuta – Memento Funeral Chapel

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Lawrence “Larry” Edward Slawuta of Cold Lake, Alberta regretfully announce the passing of their beloved husband, father and brother on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the age of 76 years.

Leaving to mourn with cherished memories is his devoted wife of 48 years: Cecily Slawuta; son: Stephen (Tatiana) Slawuta; sister: Dr. Sonia (Bohdan) Slawuta-Shulakewych; as well as many friends and colleagues he made during his years of teaching.

Larry was predeceased by his parents: Walter & Mary Anne Slawuta; siblings: Orest (Janet) Slawuta, Leslie Slawuta.

Funeral Service, Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bonnyville, AB with Father Andrij Nykyforuk officiating. Luncheon to follow at St. Louis Parish Hall, Bonnyville, AB.

Final Resting Place, Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., St. Michael’s Cemetery, Edmonton, AB with Father Mark Synch officiating.
