On June 3, 2024, Mr. Lawrence Quinney of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away
at the age of 32 years. He is survived by his loving spouse, Courtney Brertton; 4
sons & 2 daughters, Jayven Brertton, Jayden Brertton, Zakayla Cardinal,
Lawrence Jr. Quinney, Kasheria Quinney, Clarence Quinney-Brertton & one on
the way; 6 sisters, Samantha, Cheyanne, Chantel, Symone, Savannah (Kiandra)
& Summer (Devon); 4 brothers, Antonio (Braylene), Donovan, Sydney & Shane;
nieces & nephews, Felicia, Georgia, Ella, Noah, Isaiah, Shyne, Havana, Shalise,
Hayden, Hartlen, Gia & Koah; in-laws, Jamie (Jeremy) Brertton & Louis
Cardinal; numerous aunts & uncles. Lawrence was predeceased by his
parents,Clarence & Tanya; baby Brertton-Quinney; paternal grandparents,
Howard & Ernestine; maternal grandparents, Alex Favel & Winnifred Redcrow;
aunties, Crystal, Gertrude Steinhauer, Jennifer Steinhauer & Sandra; uncles,
Edward, Kenneth Steinhauer, Jonathan Redcrow & Adrian Jr. Redcrow;
nephews Freedom Knight & Eagle Feather; cousin, Gary White Jr. A Wake will
be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 12:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, July 2
& 3 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on
Thursday, July 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Pastor
Linda Burns will be officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle
