The staple of young entrepreneurship, sweet cold lemonade on a hot day, was the scene of Saturday’s Community Futures program.
Lemonade Day saw kids set up lemonade stands across the Lakeland, but jumping through the steps any business owner would have to. They apply to the Town for a business license, set up an agreement with an existing business owner for stand placement, and of course, making the lemonade and setting their prices.
This year’s winners are Leonardo Orozco, Mya and Amy Baron, and Leah Charles. This was determined by the panel of judges: David Sharun, Kayla Blanchette, Natalie Kelly, Ronda Morin and Pauline De Leon.
