Bonnyville RCMP seeks public assistance in Hit and Run of a pedestrian

On June 16, 2024, at 10:15 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP were informed that off-duty EMS personnel was with a man who stated he had been hit by a car on Highway 660, near Range Road 483. Bonnyville RCMP responded and spoke with the victim, who stated he had been walking towards Bonnyville when he got hit from behind. He had not seen the vehicle and was uncertain when the incident occurred. The victim was transported by EMS to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is currently unknown.

 

 

 

Bonnyville RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in this investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the event is asked to please come forth. Anyone with dashcam footage of Highway 660, near Range Road 483, between 7:15-10:15 a.m., is asked to please review the footage and submit anything of value. Residents of Bonnyville are also asked to be on the lookout for a vehicle that has recent front-end damage that could be consistent with impact with a pedestrian.
