Bonnyville RCMP have laid mischief charges after reports of vandalism at a playground in the M.D. of Bonnyville subdivision of Willow Ridge Estates.
The reports were launched on April 28 to police, with the use of what appears to be white paint to discolour and write vulgarities on the play equipment.
The investigation led members to two suspects and the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the Willow Ridge subdivision where further evidence was gathered, police said on Friday.
Brooke Bowman, 19, of Bonnyville and a female youth from Kehewin were both arrested and charged with mischief.
Bowman’s first court date is set for July 23rd in Bonnyville Provincial Court and the youth’s first appearance is August 6th.
